Caramel Shortbread Porridge
A deconstructed millionaire shortbread flavour porridge bowl to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings! Added into this delicious recipe is Unicorn Superfoods Caramel Slice Plant Protein for a delicious taste and 20g of clean protein.
Ingredients:
- 50g jumbo oats
- 230ml unsweetened almond milk
- 30g Unicorn Superfoods Caramel Slice Plant Protein Powder
- 20g natural almond milk yoghurt (optional but adds a yummy creaminess)
- 1 tbsp coconut flour
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup
- 5g Unicorn Superfoods Caramel Slice Plant Protein Powder
- 6 medjool dates, pitted
- 3tbsp unsweetened almond milk
- Pinch of fine sea salt
- A couple of drops of vanilla extract
- Dark chocolate
- Cacao nibs
- Banana
- Mix together the ingredients for the shortcrust pastry using your fingers until you get a fine crumble texture.
- Blend the ingredients for the date caramel together until smooth.
- Heat the oats and almond milk together for 3-5 minutes until the oats are cooked. Stir in the caramel slice plant protein and almond milk yoghurt.
- Top with the shortcrust pastry, date caramel, liquid chocolate, banana, dark chocolates cacao nibs.
