Salted Caramel Pretzel Protein Smoothie 🥨

This decadent smoothie tastes like dessert but is packed with about 30 grams of protein, nourishing ingredients, and hidden veggies! The best part is our Caramel Slice Plant Protein, adds a delicious caramel flavour and 20 grams of protein to this smoothie! It's filled with superfoods to help fuel your body and feel your best. 

 

Recipe:

Ingredients:

For the Smoothie:
  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower (or ice cubes)
  • 2 heaped tbsp Caramel Slice Plant Protein
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice

 

    For the Almond Butter Caramel Sauce:
    • 1 tbsp almond butter
    • 1 tsp maple syrup
    • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
    • pinch of salt
    • 1/2 tbsp hot water

     

      Other Toppings:
      • non-dairy whipped cream
      • pretzels

       

      Method:
      1. Add hot water to a small bowl and soak pitted dates for 10 minutes to soften for easier blending.
      2. Meanwhile, make the almond butter caramel sauce. Add all ingredients for the caramel sauce into a separate small bowl and stir until smooth. Set aside.
      3. Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender, including the soaked dates. Blend for 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth.
      4. Add more milk if needed, until it reaches your desired consistency. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream, pretzels, and almond butter caramel. Enjoy!"
