Caramel Shortbread Porridge

A deconstructed millionaire shortbread flavour porridge bowl to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings! Added into this delicious recipe is Unicorn Superfoods Caramel Slice Plant Protein for a delicious taste and 20g of clean protein. 


Ingredients:

Toppings (Shortcrust pastry crumble) Salted Date Caramel (makes 3 portions)
  • 6 medjool dates, pitted 
  • 3tbsp unsweetened almond milk 
  • Pinch of fine sea salt 
  • A couple of drops of vanilla extract
    Low cal liquid chocolate
    • Dark chocolate
    • Cacao nibs
    • Banana 
      Method:
      1. Mix together the ingredients for the shortcrust pastry using your fingers until you get a fine crumble texture.
      2. Blend the ingredients for the date caramel together until smooth.
      3. Heat the oats and almond milk together for 3-5 minutes until the oats are cooked. Stir in the caramel slice plant protein and almond milk yoghurt. 
      4. Top with the shortcrust pastry, date caramel, liquid chocolate, banana, dark chocolates cacao nibs.
