Vanilla Cake Batter Smoothie 🧁⁠

Want to switch up your usual fruit smoothie? This smoothie is the perfect way to do just that and the taste reminds of cake batter! Filled with good for you ingredients and protein AND complete with sprinkles because we are all about balance around here 🧁⁠

Recipe: (1 smoothie)⁠:
  • 1/2 cup canned coconut milk, frozen into an ice cube tray (sub 1 frozen banana)⁠
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Cake Plant Protein ⁠
  • 2-3 dates, soaked in hot water for 10 mins⁠
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter⁠
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract (optional for flavor)⁠
  • 2/3 cup plant milk (add more as needed)⁠
  • 1 tsp sprinkles⁠
  • Coconut whipped cream for decoration⁠
  • Granola to top⁠
Method⁠:
    1. Pour coconut milk into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight or until solid. When ready to make smoothie, put dates in hot water.
    2. While dates are soaking, add all other ingredients except for sprinkles to a blender. Add in dates.
    3. Blend until smooth, adding more milk as needed. Add sprinkles and pulse the blender a few times so the sprinkles are evenly incorporated.
    4. Optionally dip the rim of your glass in coconut whipped cream and roll in sprinkles. I topped mine with granola and more sprinkles. Enjoy!!⁠
