Tropical Poppyseed Cake
This Poppyseed Cake with a delightful Tropical Icing is the perfect recipe for both summer and festive occasions! Your loved ones are sure to be wowed by the deliciousness of this cake, making them return for seconds and thirds!
For the cake you need:
- 300g flour
- 190g brown sugar
- 100g (4 tbsp) poppy seeds
- 100ml milk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 90g plant oil
- 100g yogurt of your choice
- Juice of one lemon and zest
For the glaze:
- 200g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Unicorn Superfoods Tropicana Blend
Method:
- Mix all the dry ingredients together. Mix the wet ingredients together and then mix everything into a soft mixture.
- Bake in a greased loaf tin at 180°C for approx. 40-50 minutes, leave to cool down and brush with the glaze.
